Offered here is a completely restored 911 SC (Super Carrera) coupe, finished in Guards Red with a black interior. Prior to its purchase in 2012, the original rust-free Arizona car received a complete disassembly and bare metal restoration in California, repainted in its original Guards red color. Both the original numbers matching engine and transmission and the limited slip differential have been rebuilt. New brake pads & rotors were added. Suspension components were replaced as necessary and all refinished. The interior restoration included a new headliner and door panels, a recovered dash pad, recovered seats and new carpets. All clamps, caps and hardware were replated. It is a “matching numbers” car, with the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, citing the car’s serial, engine and transmission numbers.
Since the restoration, this SC has been very well maintained and serviced over its years. Recently (Nov., 2024) done: Engine out service, including a new clutch kit and bearing, plus all the seals on the crankshaft, oil pump, oil thermostat, and breather plate. Also replaced were the oil pressure sending unit, brake fluid, engine air filter, alternator & A/C drive belts, rear torsion bar bushing, and more. In 2020, the A/C compressor and blower motor were replaced and the system updated to R134a. Earlier, the sunroof cables and guides, A/C condenser fan were replaced. The battery was replaced in 2022. The front tires were replaced in 2017, and the rear tires (fine, just old) will be replaced.
Disclosures: The odometer shows 7,513 miles, believed to be since when the speedometer was repaired or replaced, and total mileage is unknown. There are two small stone chips on the hood, which may be seen in the photo gallery.
Additions include a modern Kenworth Excelon audio unit with a remote, satellite HD radio, Pandora and Bluetooth, with an Audion 520 watt amplifier under the passenger seat, and all new speakers. Phone charging and GPS power cables have been added. The newer power antenna works as it should.
Included are detailed service records and receipts during the restoration and since purchase, the COA, tool roll, jack, spare tire and compressor, front license plate bracket, a car cover and its clear Michigan title.

Why You Need A Porsche 944, By William Clavey, Jalopnik, Published June 16, 2017
“Say you’re looking for a classic, cheap rear-wheel-drive sports car for cruising in the countryside over the weekend, or even whip out for the occasional track day session. You could get an old British roadster, but the headaches that come with those cars have pretty much turned you off by now. And besides, you’re not a goddamn mechanic, but an average human being with a normal life, maybe a few kids and a mortgage to pay. All you’re looking for is a cheap way to let off some steam behind the wheel of a machine. You need a Porsche 944.” See the full story here.

1987 PORSCHE 924S
VIN: WP0AA092XHN453482
54,476 MILES
On August 14, 1990, the current owner purchased this 1987 Porsche 924S privately from its original owner. At that time, the car registered 42,756 miles. Today, thirty four years later, the odometer correctly reads 54,476 miles – an average of 345 miles driven per year. It has been driven conservatively and has not been tracked. Throughout, the car has been well maintained and all service records from 1990 to current come with the vehicle. Additionally the car has a clean Carfax with no accidents or damage reported.
This 1987 924S is original; it has not been restored or repainted. It is in excellent condition for its age. The car shows some patina, which is to be expected, but all in all, it is in very good mechanical and cosmetic condition. This 924S is Guards Red with a grey cloth interior, which is in very nice condition. The seat inserts have a repeating Porsche name pattern across them. It is powered by a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder water cooled engine that produces 150 horsepower and 142 ft-lb torque, connected to a 5 speed manual transmission.
The engine, transmission and clutch all operate as they should. The car is equipped with power windows, power steering and brakes, a Blaupunkt AM-FM cassette radio and flip up headlights. Recent service includes four brand new Bridgestone Sure Drive tires and oil/filter change. The car is always garaged.

1986 Porsche 928 S*
5.0L V8 FI DOHC 32V Engine
4-Speed Automatic Transaxle
VIN: WP0JB0929GS861081
98,785 Miles
“Porsche 928 Changes the Sports Car Game”
“The arrival of Porsche's spectacular front-engine V-8 928 makes
a lot of very famous sports cars look very obsolete.”
- Car and Driver Magazine, By David E. Davis Jr., Brock Yates and L.J.K. Setright
The 928’s rear transaxle provides a 50/50 F/R weight distribution and balance for excellent cornering and handling. Testing showed that it will accelerate from 0-60 mph in 6.6 sec. (in an era when a Corvette took 7.6 seconds), with a top speed of 150 mph. Wolfgang Möbius' sheet metal, created under the direction of then Porsche design chief Anatole Lapine, still looks fresh and original.
Purchased in February, 2008, and well maintained and serviced since, this 928 S is finished in Meteor Gray Metallic with a wine/maroon interior. The 16 in. alloy wheels are shod with Continental Extreme Contact tires (with 2018 date codes), with ABS brakes. The A/C works and blows cold. The audio unit is a newer Kenwood AM/FM/CD/Sirius/Bluetooth model, with handsfree phone capability and power outlets installed. The car has no other aftermarket modifications.
This 928 has been well taken care of by its owner and qualified area specialists. Some examples of significant recent services done are as follows. Jan., 2021, at 95,362 miles: steering rack replaced, valve/cam covers and cam plugs resealed, new timing chain tensioners, battery, power steering fluid, engine oil & filter and air filter changed; four wheel alignment. Feb., 2022: New timing belts, tensioners, idlers, water pump, belts; new aluminum radiator & hoses and more.
Disclosures: The turn signals work, but they don’t self-cancel. The catalytic converters have been removed. Included are maintenance & service records during current ownership, a clean Carfax report with no accidents or damage reported, and a clear Michigan title.

“Triumph’s TR6 is an E-Type (Jaguar) for the masses…The silky 2.5-liter inline-six deserves much credit for delivering admirable torque and a seductive baritone song. Stein, Hagerty Media, 28 November, 2022
